16 Rooms
25 RV Sites
Built in 1957
When the Evergreen opened its doors in 1957, the great American road trip was in full swing. Families loaded up the station wagon, truckers and salesmen worked the long miles of Highway 54, and a cozy room with a neon welcome sign was the most reassuring sight on the Kansas plains.
The Evergreen started as a single row of rooms along the highway. As travelers kept coming, it grew with them: a second building, then RV sites, and over the decades a shady, green retreat on nine acres. The restaurant next door was once part of the property too, and it's still just a short walk away.

Nearly seventy years later, the spirit hasn't changed. The Evergreen is still the first place to greet eastbound travelers rolling into Pratt and the last familiar sight for those heading into the western high plains. Park right outside our door, cool off in the heated pool under the old shade trees, and settle into the easy pace of a roadside stay the way it was meant to be.
Some things are worth keeping. Welcome to the Evergreen Inn!
